3MTM ScotchcastTM Flexible Power Cable Y-Splice Kit (82-BF1) is for use on unshielded, portable power cables and cords rated up to 1000 volts. This mold kit allows a single cable to split into two pieces at the splice.
Each kit contains: 1 Removable Mold, 1 Size B Bag 3M Scotchcast compound 2131, 3 Strips of Scotch Rubber Splicing Tape 23, 1 Strip of 3M Three-M-Ite, Elek-Tro-Cut, Abrasive Cloth, and installation instructions.
Although the mold is reuseable, each kit makes 1 splice. For spare scotchcast compound, see pt#3M 2131B.
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer
Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
