The SDI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver Course is designed to train divers in the use of a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) and familiarize them with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, and hazards of using a DPV in a non-overhead environment

Who this course is for:

• The certified diver looking to maximize the amount of area they can cover during a dive by using a DPV Individuals that may have limited use of their legs for diving

Course prerequisites:

• SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
• Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent

Also, the SDI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver certification counts towards a single specialty rating to achieve the SDI Advanced Diver Development Program.

• Once you complete the online portion schedule the class, pool, or open water dives as required.
• Course Cost:
• $139.95 for class & certification card once earned.
• $90.00 Instructor Fee - Includes 2 open water dives (Tanks and Weights Included).
• $90.00 DPV Rental for 2 Dives
• Dive count is the minimum required amount of dives to successfully complete the course. If additional dives are required they are $45.00 per dive and include tanks and weights.
• Not included are Rental Equipment and Trip Costs. Trip costs include transportation, lodging, boat fees, park fees, food and beverage, etc.
