A Vent-Free/Vented Burner may be installed in a vented fireplace (with the flue damper blocked open) for use as a decorative appliance. A decorative appliance operates with an on/off switch or remote, and may not operate with a thermostat. For a VFIU burner in a vented application, replace the included Thermostat Remote with an on/off switch or remote. See owner's manual for complete instructions. Fits Empire VF Peninsula and See-Through Fireboxes.

Requires:

• 3 sq. ft. of decorative glass to cover both sides of the burner top. Additional glass may be required to cover the firebox floor.
• Use as Vented System requires switch or On/Off Remote.
