Amish Fire Tools (AFT)

We are very proud to introduce a line of Amish Fire Tools. These traditional tools are handcrafted by Amish farmers in a traditional blacksmith forge and are spectacular in design and construction. This set consists of an Ash Shovel, Fire Poker, and Log Tongs. These pieces are extremely robust and will outlast their new owners.

Fatwood (Fatwood)

Born from the wood of old pine stumps left for waste after logging, it is made from splitting the stumps of pine trees that contain a high concentration of natural resin. As the stump wood hardens over time, the resin or sap concentrates to create an all-natural, chemical-free fire starter.

By using just two sticks of Fatwood, instead of the hassle of crumbling newspaper or gathering kindling, you'll spend less time starting the fire and more time enjoying it.

Crafted from 1/4" mild carbon steel the grate drops in the fire pit resting snugly in the interior of the fire pit.
