The Bluntnose Sixgill shark is a common deep water shark, with a nickname of ?cow shark?. Growing to a length of 20ft and weighing 1,300lbs, it is also one of the largest sharks that feed on prey rather than plankton. Though sluggish in nature, hence the nickname, this prehistoric looking shark can reach high speeds by using its powerful tail to chase and catch prey.
