Our large natural 5-6 oz rawhide cow skin is ideal for Indian lore, buck skinning, black powder, and larger leathercraft projects. Use for drum tops, moccasin soles, knife sheaths, throngs, horn wraps, lamp shades, lace, jewelry, Native American style crafts, and more. These are sides.

This hide is dehaired and cured, but not tanned. Just soak in water and it will easily cut, mold, shape, and form. Once it dries, it will stiffen and retain its shape.

Average hide is 20-24 square feet.

Rawhide dates all the way back to the early Native Americans. It is very firm because it has not been tanned- it has only been dehaired and cured.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
