Most popularized 17 4 PHspears when hardened correctly are supposed to be 52 Rockwell C which sets it at around 1700MPAin tensile. When actually tested many are not above 48 C measuring around 1450 to 1500MPA.
Rob Allen carbon spring steel is 50 to 52 Rockwell C and 2000 to 2100MPA, no spear is tougher or more resistant to bending.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer
Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
